This Weight-Loss Rule Really Works

If you’re counting calories and watching your portion sizes| there’s only one true way to know exactly how much you’re eating. Dietitian Julie Upton| MS| RD| of Appetite For Health says to get out measuring cups| spoons| and a food scale so you can weigh and measure what you’re eating. It’s way more effective than using the less-than-accurate “eyeball” technique. And for packaged foods such as cereal or crackers| stick to the recommended serving to see if you’ve been suffering from portion distortion.
