Just in time for this weekend’s big opening of Avengers: Age of Ultron is a workout to make you feel like your best and strongest self. We love that it only requires a set of dumbbells and can be done anywhere. The results? - Stand with feet shoulder-width apart holding dumbbells above your shoulders and facing forward.
- Step forward into a lunge position while simultaneously pressing the dumbbells up over your head.
- Return to starting position and perform on the other side. This is one rep.
- Stand holding dumbbells at your sides| palms facing your hips.
- Curl the dumbbells up toward your shoulders| then slowly lower back down.
- Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart and toes pointed outward| holding a single dumbbell with both hands in between your legs.
- Slowly lower down into a squat position| keeping your knees behind your toes| then return to starting position.
- Stand holding dumbbells at your sides| palms facing forward.
- Curl the dumbbells up toward your shoulders| then slowly lower back down.
- Stand in a staggered stance with one foot slightly ahead of the other and feet shoulder-width apart.
- Holding one dumbbell with both hands| bend your knees and bring the dumbbell down to one side| then swing it up and across your body| finishing with it high in the air on the opposite side of your body.
